The Ottawa Valley NAVHDA Chapter is holding an Invitational Aims Clinic on May 25/26 2024 at the Webfoot Outdoors / Rimrock Kennel Facility in Clayton NY.

We will have the privilege to benefit from Tim Clark vast knowledge and experience as our clinic leader.  Tim has been a member of NAVHDA since 1988 he became a judge in 1998 has been a senior judge since 2001 as well as an Aims and rules clinic and Invitational clinic leader.  Tim has handled and tested dogs at every level of NAVHDA including 16 Versatile Championsl titles in 20 attempts.  He was one of the key architects in developing the Invitational clinic content.  His hands-on knowhow and time spend in the Invitational tests will definitely be instrumental in helping all participants achieve better results.

If you want to register, please contact Luc Raymond.at lraymond1@me.com or 819-246-4958.  The clinic fee is ($200US – $265CA) and due upon registration if you want to ensure you make it on the list.

It is important to note that the clinic will be held outside under a canopy.  The participants will also have to be in the field and near water to judge dogs in action even if it rains.  Appropriate clothing and a comfortable camping chair are required.  You also have to bring the material needed to take notes.  Additional information about the location and the facility can be found at http://webfootoutdoors.com/index.html.

For those interested, it is possible to camp (tent or trailer) on the Webfoot Outdoors Facility grounds with access to an outdoor shower, water and toilet.  It is a privilege for the club to be able to use this facility so please keep it clean, pick up after your dogs and no smoking on the grounds.

As well, Webfoot Outdoors is proposing a meal plan for the weekend.  It will cover the 2 lunches as well as dinner on Saturday, also including non-alcoholic beverages (you are welcome to bring your own) for a cost of $75US.  If interested, please let me know as well by April 15th to be able to provide them with a head count.
